Bbnaija 2020 Potential housemates in quarantine ahead of premiere.
In preparation for season 5 of Big Brother Naija which is to start July 19, potentials Housemates are in quarantine ahead of the premiere.

According to Channel Director, Africa Magic, Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu, while answering questions from journalists at a virtual press conference, She said:

We are making sure everything works in tandem with the “new normal” reality being occasioned by the Coronavirus pandemic.

She also added that they have enough potential Housemates in the event some test positive to the virus for replacement.

According to Channel Director, Africa Magic, Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu, She said that the online auditions which they did back in May were a huge success with over 32 thousand (32,000) entries being recorded from BBNaija hopefuls across Nigeria.

However, Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu didn’t let the cat out of the bag about the theme of the Season 5 edition but promised that it will be an improvement on the previous edition.

Bbnaija 2020 COVID-19 Precautions

Meanwhile, Multi-choice the organisers also said they are taking precautions to keep the housemates safe and coronavirus-free in season five of the show.

Besides the intense health screenings, MultiChoice also plans to frequently disinfect the house in the course of the show.

They have also said that there will be no live audience at the Sunday eviction show and that external visitors like visiting celebrities and BBNaija Ninjas will not be featured this year.

Carefully tested measures have been put in place to ensure minimal contact with outsiders once the housemates enter the house, they added.

”This includes the ‘ninjas’, who may not be very visible during the show due to COVID-19 realities. Before the show kicks off, anyone who shows signs of ill health will as expected not to be a part of the show.

”The production crew will work in (socially distanced) shifts. There will be no live audience at the Sunday night eviction shows,” they added.

The budding singer studied music and business at York College in Queens, New York. It’s no wonder then that her top artists include one of the city’s most famous exports, Mary J Blidge. Just like the Queen of Hip Hop, the Ogun State native has ambitions to spread her music all over the world.

What will you do with the prize money: My mom is everything to me. I will build a house for her and my daughter. I also want to invest in real estate.

The 23-year-old has only had one boyfriend her entire life and she relaxes by watching football, playing games and eating spaghetti, her favourite meal.
